Brandon Calhoon

Brandon Calhoon, 31, recently made the move to Hermosa Beach, California, from Beaverton, Michigan, to pursue his music career, and currently works for Kelly Services as a professional recruiter. He played basketball in college and graduated from Central Michigan University, with a degree in industrial arts.

Previously Brandon was the lead vocalist and played guitar in several cover and all-original bands in the Michigan area. Since arriving in California he has been playing solo gigs and looking for a band to join.

“I don’t think it sank in yet. It’s stuff that you only dream of. It’s a dream come true,” Brandon told his hometown paper, the Gladwin County Record. “It’s weird to think that I actually have the opportunity to be the lead singer of INXS.”
