Jordis Unga
 This is the second show Jordis Unga has appeared in on CBS. In 2004
she was a semi-finalist on
Star Search, singing the soulful "It Hurt's So Bad," but failed
to move to the next round.
At 22, she is the youngest contestant. She is currently a musician
and bartender in St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota, and most recently
was in the band,
The Fighting Tongs.
"It's kind of mind-boggling," Jordis told the Houston Chronicle
in early July "It's crazy to think my life, as it is now, is
probably not going to be the same when I get back home again."
"I am not going to cheat on my boyfriend on the very first day,"
Unga told the Houston Chronicle,
"And, I swear to God, I am not going to get drunk on this show."
Jordis' friend and former Tongs bandmate Corey Frazee told WCCO Channel 4 in St. Paul,
that they've got a new group now called Liars
Club. "Half of me wants her to go all the way," Frazee said.
"Half of me wants her to get kicked off so we can get our band
going, and (I can) get my friend back too."
