20 cities spread over six continents for ROCK STAR: INXS.
These are the 15 finalists:
J.D. Fortune
J.D. Fortune, 31, currently lives in Oakville, Ontario, Canada
and was raised in Nova Scotia and Toronto. He was in his last
rock band for six years before doing a short stint in the
Canadian army. In the past he's worked as an Elvis impersonator.
"The first song I learned how to play on guitar was Devil
Inside," said Fortune, 31, referring to a hit from INXS' 1987
breakthrough album Kick.
"I've always been a fan."

Marty
Casey
Marty Casey, 31, is just coming off the Virgin College Mega Tour
as the lead singer for the Chicago, Illinois band,
Lovehammers. He and the band worked recently with Steve
Albini (Nirvana, Bush, Pixies), toured with Nickelback, and
their music has been featured in several TV shows and Indie
films. In a 2004
Chicago Sun-Times
interview he was asked what the best thing was about being him
and he responded, "Being in a band with my three best friends.
Most friendships fall apart after a certain age. Best thing
about being in a band: Getting to record with amazing people,
see different parts of the country and sell out places like the
Viper Room in L.A." CBS lists his profession as a real estate

MiG
Ayesa
Miguel "Mig" Ayesa, 35, a singer-actor-musician born in the
Philippines, moved to Sydney, Australia as a young boy, and now
resides in London, England. He has appeared on TV and stage both
in Australia and England, most notably as Galileo in the West
End Production of We Will Rock You, the musical featuring the
songs of Queen, and as Angel in the West End production of Jon
Larson's RENT. The first record he bought was INXS' Original Sin
in 1984. In
News.com.au he claims that he doesn't intend to do a
Hutchence impersonation. "The minute you try and copy him you
just become a bad imitator; there's only one Michael Hutchence,"
he said. "The opportunity for me to lead the band into a new
chapter of their development is an incredible challenge."

Suzie McNeil
Suzie McNeil, 28, is a scintillating blues-R&B-rock singer and a
full-time musician from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She's done
everything from commercial jingles, to musical theatre, to studio
and live performance, and even toured with an Abba Tribute show. She
currently runs
KidMusic, a Toronto-based group of musicians.

Jordis Unga
This is the second show Jordis Unga has appeared in on CBS. In 2004
she was a semi-finalist on
Star Search, singing the soulful "It Hurt's So Bad," but failed
to move to the next round.
At 22, she is the youngest contestant. She is currently a musician
and bartender in St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota, and most recently
was in the band,
The Fighting Tongs.

Ty Taylor
Ty Taylor, 36, is the only African-American to play the title role
in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Broadway. A Carnegie-Mellon graduate, Ty recently appeared as
Britney in We Will Rock You, at the Paris Las Vegas. Currently
living in Las Vegas, Nevada, he is originally from Montclair, New
Jersey.

She is originally from Kingston, Ontario, one of four contestants
originally from Canada. On

Jessica Robinson
Jessica Robinson, 25,
is a musician and coffee shop barista from Chicago, Illinois. Her current band
CoverGürl, plays a combination of covers and original songs. On
her band site, Jessica lists her favorite bands as "STP, Audioslave,
Led Zeppelin, Limp Bizkit, Bon Jovi, Beatles and yes I'll say loud
and proud...N'SYNC!!!!"

Brandon Calhoon
Brandon Calhoon, 31, recently made the move to Hermosa Beach,
California, from Beaverton, Michigan, to pursue his music
career, and currently works for Kelly Services as a professional
recruiter. Previously Brandon was the lead vocalist and played
guitar in several cover and all-original bands in the Michigan
area. Since arriving in California he has been playing solo gigs
and looking for a band to join.

Tara Slone
A classically trained singer, Tara Slone, 31, is one of two contestants from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
She studied theatre at Concordia University in Montreal, then moved
to Toronto to pursue music. Her stage style is often compared to
Chrissie Hynde and Pat Benatar. Her former band, Joydrop, released
two CDs, had a radio hit, "Beautiful," and ended up signed to
Tommy Boy Records and made a video with Tommy Lee.

Born in Germany and raised in New York City, Daphna Dove, 29, is
currently a legal secretary in Los Angeles, California. Her most

Heather Luttrell
Heather Luttrell, 27, from Atlanta, Georgia, is a musician,
painter, and nanny. Smith at
Atlanta.CreativeLoafing.com says, "This fiery redhead's
crowd-pleasing blues and rock recall Bonnie Raitt but with a bit
more of an "alternative" edge. Do not let her punkish look and
butterfly tattoo-covered body fool you, Heather Grrrl (aka Heather
Luttrell) and her seasoned players are definitely not slackers."

Neal Carlson
Neal Carlson is a hot-blooded 29-year old male from Queens, New
York. His most recent band,
Bona Roba has been featured
on MTV2, and independently released a CD now available on Amazon.com
and CDbaby.
Jeff Rey, of Neon wrote "Bona Roba is about the music – played
live, basically three chord rock punched flat-out, dripping with
sweat and panting with pleasure. Sort of like good sex."

Wil Seabrook
Wil Seabrook, 28, was born in North Carolina, but moved to Europe as a
child. He began singing in a band at the age of sixteen, and a CD he produced as a senior project caught the attention of
LA-based producer John Ryan (Santana, Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd). In
2003 he signed with Maverick/WB records and his major label debut
was entitled, It's Your Life and They're Living it For You.
He has played with world class players,
recorded in historic Capitol Studio B in Hollywood among others, and
has toured the country opening for household names from Dave
Matthews to Chris Isaak.

Originally from Las Vegas, Dana Robbins, 30, currently resides
in Studio City, California, and is a musician, dancer, yoga
instructor, and bartender. A wicked front person, she recently
sang with two LA-based bands - the hard rock band, Aerial, and
the campy, fun, and very sexy Alien Show Girls.
